5 ways to make 2023 easier (and generate more cash)

How I’m Streamlining My Content Process in 2025

Unlike most other business owners, I love creating content.

The process of coming up with an idea, turning that into a piece of content and then sharing it with other people is 100% my idea of a good time. I love that shit.

So the thought of outsourcing it entirely to someone else or completely replacing my content creation process with AI – doesn’t appeal to me in the slightest.

I do it myself because I’m good at it, I’m quick at it and I love it – BUT I know this might not be the case for you.

And after supporting hundreds of clients who feel the same way as you, I’m always on the lookout for ways to make the content creation process easier.

So over the last few months I’ve been doing a bit of testing and trialling with AI in my own business to see what works well and what’s a waste of time, so I can then share this knowledge with my clients to help streamline their content creation process and make it a whole lot easier.

And in today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I’m going to give you an insight into my findings so far.

Why Messaging Comes Before AI

One of the biggest mistakes business owners make with AI is expecting it to do all the work. But here’s the thing: messaging trumps AI every single time.

AI is not a magic wand. It’s a tool, like a highly skilled assistant, but it can only work with the inputs you give it. If your messaging is unclear, generic, or basic, AI will simply amplify that. That’s why there is so much low-quality, robotic content floating around the internet right now.

Before you turn to AI, you need to be able to answer these key questions:

  • Who is your ideal client? What are their biggest challenges and desires?
  • How does your offer help them solve their problem and achieve their goals?
  • Why should they choose you and buy now?

If you don’t have clear, compelling answers to these questions, AI won’t be able to create standout content for you.

That’s why I teach my clients to refine their Micro-Messaging DNA first – your brand’s unique messaging fingerprint that AI cannot generate on its own.

How I Use AI to Streamline My Content Process

Once you have your messaging locked in, AI can be an amazing tool for refining and repurposing content. Here’s how I’m using AI to make my content creation process more efficient:

1. Brainstorming & Outlining Content

Right now, I use ChatGPT and Claude for brainstorming content ideas. I prefer Claude because its tone aligns more with my writing style (whereas ChatGPT can lean a little bro-marketer-ish). Sometimes, I even use them against each other – feeding one’s output into the other to refine it.

For example, I might ask:

“I want to record a podcast episode. The title of this episode is “How I’m Streamlining My Content Process in 2025”. For context: I’m running a masterclass on “How to Tell + Sell in the Age of AI” so this episode will highlight how I’m using AI to streamline my marketing process. My stance on AI is that messaging comes first and because I’m clear on my unique micro-messaging first, it does help make my content creation faster AND still high-quality and convert. So with that in mind – What would you include in this episode to position me as a marketing strategist who knows her shit and shift their perspective about their marketing and get them to sign up to my masterclass.”

Instead of generic AI-generated content, I get a framework that aligns with my strategy, expertise and goals.

2. Repurposing Content for Different Platforms

Once I create a long-form piece of content (like a podcast script), I use AI to help me break it down into multiple formats, including:

  • Blog posts (like this one!)
  • Email newsletters
  • Instagram captions
  • Meta ad scripts

This allows me to maximise every piece of content without starting from scratch every time.

3. Generating Attention-Grabbing Hooks

AI is also useful for coming up with different angles and hooks for my content. I feed it a long-form piece and ask for multiple headline variations or attention-grabbing opening lines. This helps me test different messaging styles to see what resonates best with my audience.

4. Streamlining Client Deliverables

Another game-changer? Using AI to pull insights from call transcripts.

I use Fathom to transcribe my 90-minute coaching calls and then feed the transcript into AI to extract the key messaging insights. This helps me create in-depth messaging documents for clients in way less time while still adding my strategic input.

What AI Can’t Do Well (Yet)

While AI is helpful, it’s not perfect. Some things it still struggles with:

  • Writing Instagram captions that sound like a human wrote them
  • Crafting sales pages (even with detailed prompts, the copy still falls flat)
  • Replicating my brand voice accurately

That’s why I never rely on AI for 100% of my content creation. It’s a tool that assists me, but I always tweak and refine the output to make it sound like me.

My Custom AI Bot for Micro Messaging Wizards

Through all my experimenting, I decided to create a custom GPT specifically for my Micro Messaging clients.

This AI assistant is built using my Bolt 3D Framework and the Micro Messaging Method, so it generates compelling hooks and messaging angles that actually convert.

When you join Micro Messaging, you get exclusive access to this AI bot to help you create scroll-stopping, money-making content faster and easier. Doors open again soon, so if you want in, join the waitlist now for the best price!

In all honesty creating a custom bot was definitely not something I had on my bingo card for 2025 – but the more I played around with it and tested my framework and methods, the more sense it made.

The Future of AI in Content Marketing

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that AI isn’t replacing content creators anytime soon. But it is a powerful tool that can enhance your content strategy – if you use it the right way.

And as I mentioned at the start of the episode – I KNOW not everyone loves creating content like I do. I also know for you it’s not always as quick and straightforward as it is for me. And all I want is to make content creation as easy as possible for you because facts are facts –  it’s a non-negotiable if you want a stand-out business that sells out.

Not to mention I’m completely over reading very obviously AI-created content!

So if I can teach you the messaging spells to use AI to amplify your magic I will!
