Launching Next Month? Here’s Your Pre-Launch Strategy for a Sold-Out Launch

Launching Next Month? Here’s Your Pre-Launch Strategy for a Sold-Out Launch

If you’ve got a launch next month, your pre-launch strategy will make or break your results.

Because here’s the truth – what you do before cart open determines how smooth, stress-free, and successful your launch will be.

I’ve just wrapped up my most easeful and fun launch yet, and I’m here to make sure you avoid the common mistakes that slow sales, spike stress, and leave you wondering why no one’s buying.

So if you’ve been faffing around with busy work (adding unnecessary bonuses, endlessly tweaking, or hiding in client work), it’s time to stop and get strategic.

Here’s exactly what to focus on now so you’re ready for a sold-out launch.

Episode 213: Launching Next Month? Here's What You Need to Focus on NOW for a Sold-Out Launch

Do a Launch Strategy Check

Before you dive straight into doing anything else,  zoom out and look at your pre-launch strategy from a big-picture perspective.

Forget “What should I post on Instagram?” for a moment. This is about the foundational moves that set you up to sell with ease.

Ask yourself:

Who’s already warm? Check your DMs, email list, client notes, and comments to create a Hot Leads List. Include past clients ready for the next step, people who’ve enquired before, and lurkers who always engage but haven’t bought yet.

What absolutely needs to happen for this launch? Not your “nice to have” list – your essentials. Emails, sales content, graphics, checkout links, testimonials.

Where’s the mess? If your backend is chaos, your launch will feel like chaos. Get everything – dates, offer links, messaging, testimonials – in one central hub. I start with a Google Doc, then plug it into ClickUp so I can see everything at a glance.

Doing this now removes panic later and frees up your launch week for the thing that matters most: selling.

Lock in the Part That Makes You Money

Being organised alone won’t sell your offer – your messaging will.

Too many business owners spend 90% of their pre-launch “getting ready to get ready” and only 10% actually creating desire, demand, and differentiation. These are the 3 essential elements of messaging that converts.

Map Your Core Messaging Angles

Stop repeating features like a broken record.

Instead, use angles that:

  • Speak directly to the transformation they want (Desire)
  • Show why it matters now (Demand)
  • Make your approach stand out (Differentiation)

Deliver these angles through different stories, perspectives, and emotional depths to reach people at different awareness stages.

If you skip this, you create blind spots that cost you sales.

Seed Your Offer Early

We’re past the days of cryptic “something big is coming” posts. Unless you’re Taylor Swift, people won’t care about your big reveal unless you give them a reason to.

Start weaving your offer into your content now:

  • Mention it when you’re telling a client story
  • Share behind-the-scenes as you get ready to launch
  • Create a waitlist and direct people to it
  • Drop in the results, transformations, or lightbulb moments it creates

When people already know what the offer is and why it matters to them, they’ll be primed to buy when you open the cart.

Actually Show Up and Sell

By the time your launch arrives, you should be:

  • Clear on your messaging
  • Already building desire, demand, and differentiation
  • Ready to lead with confidence

Selling means making clear invitations more than once, having real conversations, and showing up even when engagement dips.

You also need to be flexible and ready to pivot because your launch won’t always go exactly as planned.

You’ll have days when you make no sales, people will say no and you’ll feel like you’re talking to yourself.

But selling requires leadership energy – not “please like me” energy.

Launches that are spacious, successful, and actually fun are built by those who respond instead of react.

They know how to hold their messaging and trust themselves to course-correct if (and when) needed.

The Pre-Launch Strategy That Wins

A sold-out launch isn’t magic – it’s the result of a strong pre-launch strategy.

Do the groundwork now:

  • Tighten your launch plan
  • Craft messaging that converts
  • Seed your offer early
  • Show up and sell with confidence
