I’ve lived with depression and anxiety since I was 16 years old.
And living with anxiety and depression and running a business is interesting to say the least. It adds that layer to the experience of being a CEO in your business – coping with all of the things going on in your business and going on in your mind.
But I also know the power of my voice, of sharing my story, and of connecting with other people through shared experience.
Because what I also know to be true – there’s always someone out there who needs to hear what you’ve got to say.
Sharing your story could change someone’s life.
I know this because today’s guest on the How I Do Content Podcast is someone who’s story impacted me – long before the Social Bolt ever existed.
I’m so happy to chat today with the amazing Lou Fitz from The Anxiety Project.
Let me officially introduce you to Lou
Through a Lived-Experience approach, Lou supports passionate anxious individuals to find their Inner-Confidence, Inner-Truth & lift the bar on self-knowledge by learning who the fuck they are, why they are the way they are, so they can own themselves authentically without the worrying mind-shitstorms getting in the way!
Lou shares her lessons learnt from coming out the other side of a 20 year battle with anxiety & 4 year battle with depression. Through her relatable, raw AF story telling, she will have you laughing, crying, and feeling a whole lot better about the ‘craziness’ inside your head, and inspire you to take back control and be Authentically YOU!
In today’s episode we dive into Lou’s experience with anxiety and she shares some really great insight into tools and techniques to support anxious biz owners and why sharing her story was so important to her.
You’ll love Lou.
And if you are in a vulnerable space right now or this conversation covers topics that could be triggering please listen with discretion. And reach out for help if needed. Please know that you’re not alone.
